The Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) is a discovery service for peer reviewed books published under an open access license. DOAB provides a searchable index to the information about these books, with links to the full texts of the publications at the publisher's website or repository.
2	Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) lists free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals, covering all subjects and languages.
3	Directory of Open Access Resources (OpenDOAR)
The Directory of Open Access Resources (OpenDOAR) aims to provide aÂ comprehensive and authoritative list of academic open access repositories forÂ end-users who wish to find particular archives or who wish to break downÂ repositories by locale, content or other measures. Users can search forÂ repositories by the following regions: Africa, Asia, Australasia, Caribbean,Â Central America, Europe, North America, and South America.
4	African Journals Online - AJOL
AJOL is an open access database of African published journals, withÂ access to some full text online and a document delivery service. It requiresÂ free registration. Subject strength includes; Agriculture & Food Sciences,Â Aquatic Sciences, Art & Architecture, Biology & Life Sciences,Â Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics, Earth Sciences, Economics &Â Development, Education, Environmental Sciences, Finance & Management, FishÂ & Fisheries, General Science (broad subject range), Health, History,Â Humanities (broad subject range),Â Information, Communication & Library Sciences, Language & Literature,Â Philosophy, Political Science & Law, Psychology & Psychiatry, Religion,Â Sociology & Anthropology, Technology, Computer Science & Engineering,Â Veterinary Science.
5	Global Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Search
Central portal to search and locate Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) from universities around the world. Exciting new service launched byÂ The Networked Digital Library of Theses and DissertationsÂ (NDLTD) in July 2015. Once researchers have located the ETDs of interest, they are able to access the original documents from the originating institutions.
6	WorldWideScience.org
WorldWideScience.org is a global science gateway, providing one-stopÂ searching of over 90 national and international scientific databases andÂ portals from more than 70 countries. Users can search and translate 400 millionÂ pages of science and technology information. Resources available viaÂ WorldWideScience include DOAJ and all the JournalsÂ Online projects (JOLs).
